being behind the camera, and feeling more than the photo being taken. but a moment in time that’s making a difference in your life. in more ways than you realize. out of your comfort zone, with your sisters.

To be quite honest, this experience was the most rewarding photos I’ve done. Feeling art combined with fostering new friendships. sharing our struggles. being vulnerable. uniting in femininity. I felt so much emotion from this night. My feelings are on fire with inspiration right now. Wholeheartedly, I want to personally thank each and every one of these ladies. being right here, in this moment with me. it feels intimate and it’s special.

Empowerment and Unity

Further, my goal with this photoshoot was to bring women and new experiences together. UNITY. TOGETHERNESS. RELATABILITY. Before we started the photoshoot, we formed a circle and each introduced ourselves to one another. We all shared something we are struggling with. That moment was truly a bonding experience. Many of us not meeting in person before. Some friends, some not knowing each other at all. We all ended up leaving that photoshoot as friends. Overall, that is what it’s all about: community.

In-Person Connections

Basically, being a photographer, I am constantly on my phone to market myself. Albeit, when I am not taking the photos in real life. Certainly, I realized how much I miss creating. Also, just hanging out with people IN PERSON. Not just corresponding on Instagram. Combining my creative photography and community building would be a dream. This idea’s conception came from that sentiment. Altogether, I cannot emphasize enough how rewarding this experience was…

Women Bonding and Art

Additionally, I want to incorporate these photoshoots into my year more and more. Making new connections with other strong women. Supporting each other. Undeniably, it is a way to network with new women. Also, a way to have an emotional release. Unquestionably, through bonding and art. I am so excited to continue these self love and empowerment shoots. I feel like we need more unity today more than ever. Specifically, women from all walks of life.

Women’s Empowerment Photoshoot #2 Coming Soon

Therefore, I welcome all women to join us at our next photoshoot. I welcome everyone who is willing to have an experience like this. I encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone. Try something a little different than your normal routine. If you are not used to the camera, no problem. We can take it step by step. It is a safe and sacred space. Everyone is welcome. Stay tuned for the second photoshoot coming this autumn 2022.
