You know that feeling, right? That deep need to feel seen, truly seen, for who you are, the creative soul you hold within? That’s the heart behind this day, and it’s exactly what transpired during a recent photoshoot swap with my amazing friend Brittany at the gorgeous Thompson Park in Jamesburg! I always love portraits at Thompson Park, NJ because it is my favorite place in the whole state.

On that day, golden sunlight dappling through the trees, the air buzzing with late summer energy, and two friends, cameras in hand, ready to capture each other’s essence. We decided to do portraits at Thompson Park NJ, a place with such beautiful light and a serene atmosphere that perfectly complemented our creative vision. It wasn’t just about getting new portraits; it was about creating a safe space to be vulnerable, to be our “extra selves,” and to see each other in a new light.
