Community and Chai Night

Celebrating building community in Canton, Michigan with Chai Night at Shaghf Cafe. The promotion was buy one, get one chai cup free, so we encouraged people to bring a friend. The goal of the night was to emulate the late nights out in Arab countries, where people normally meet at night to drink coffee and tea. Shaghf baristas made their classic “Karak chai” for all the customers.

Shaghf Cafe is the perfect place to get your favorite drink, and experience Arab culture. The inside of the cafe is very inviting and beautifully setup. It’s the perfect spot to meet a friend and catch up with your favorite caffeinated beverage.

Shaghf Cafe is a warm place that welcomes community to meet inside their beautiful walls covered in Arabic writing. The owners, from Iraq, created a beautiful space for Canton locals to enjoy their favorite beverages where culture and community meet. They are famous for their coffees available in cans. In addition, they have luxury drinks like frappes, matcha, and lattes. From their iconic pistachio flavor, to their salty and sweet Shaghf frappe, Shaghf has unique and delicious flavors.
