Autumn Adventure Elopement Day

Spunky Untraditional Elopement Inspiration

Emmi and Steven’s day was nothing short of UNTRADITIONAL AND SPUNKY! Their whole vision for their day was to spend in their absolute favorite town together: Beacon, New York. Beacon is the place where they spend most of their weekend trips whenever they get the chance. It is the place they get to do their favorite activities: go to the movies, go to the bookstore, and walk around the town together.

Sooooooo… what better place than to have their AUTUMN ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT DAY!!! It was SOOOOO THEM!!!! When they pitched me this idea for their special day, I saw the vision immediately. I thought, “What an epic idea for an elopement experience.”

The Detail Photos

They had such sentimental detail items. From their personal movie ticket invitations to their special day, the special jewelry her grandmother gifted her, their personalized menu at the Wonder Bar and their Polaroids.

Getting Ready

Emmi got ready at The Chapel Restoration where her ceremony was. They have a beautiful house on the side before you walk up to the chapel. It is very spacious and has gorgeous natural lighting coming from the large windows.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place at the historic Chapel Restoration. It was a quaint non-denominational chapel. There was a stairway to the top floor so I was able to get photos from above looking down on their ceremony.

Bride & Groom Portraits

Emmi and Steven had SOOOOOO many ideas for where we could take their wedding portraits. We took photos at the chapel with the beautiful overlook of the mountains, on the railroad, walking around the streets of Beacon, in the movie theater, in the Wonder Bar, and in Stanza bookstore. It was truly an ADVENTURE! They valued their whole experience together that day, which made for such a FUN AND UNFORGETTABLE DAY FOR THEM!
