Community for Women, by Women
The women’s creative is a safe space for women to meet and network. My idea for it came from the need I have seen for women to be able to make new friends, and business connections, in a natural and organic way. So far, I have hosted 5 women’s creative meet ups. Now, I have been trying to collaborate with a new woman business owner each time to expand women’s creative and give women an opportunity to showcase their businesses and offers. Overall, this NJ women’s creative group is for women, by women, to highlight what we want and how we like to network.
The Core Mission
Women’s creative 5 🎂🧺🌷👭🏼🍓🌞✨— I think the real reason I started women’s creative is to feel safe. Do you know how important it is to feel safe? How many safe spaces can you think of that you have access to on a weekly basis? Where you can fully be yourself, feel seen, heard and safe to unload whatever is holding you back.
With all of that in mind, that’s where this women’s group came from. From my own lack of a safe space, of not feeling seen, of not feeling comfortable to unload what’s holding me back. I see you.
Come as you are, come as WE are. Don’t be anyone but you. Be your fully quiet self, or weird self, or excited self, or extra self. Your authentic self is welcome here. We make room for you here.
Nothing is more isolating than showing up to a job every week where you wear a mask of someone you’re not, be around loved ones that may not see you for who you are evolving into, or being around people that don’t understand the depth of who you really are and what your soul is.
There’s nothing surface level about women’s creative. It is built to go deep, to get to the core, and allow you to share something you may not have shared with anyone before.
That is what the mission is, the core, the purpose. And I’m so excited to keep learning what it all means every time I host one, learn more about myself, learn more about you, and what’s needed next for us. Here’s to us. 👭🏼
Sab’s Lasting Impressions
For women’s creative 5, I collaborated with Sab’s Lasting Impressions. She provides grazing spreads of food for special occasions. The table spread she setup for WC5 was above and beyond. It was a delcious spread of meat, cheese, crackers, fruits, vegetables and dips. It was absolutely amazing. Sab was the perfect addition to our network for the NJ women’s creative group.
Truly Scrumptious Treats
Jessica Gibbons, owner of Truly Scrumptious Treats, created the most perfect cake for our women’s creative. It was a vintage pink heart cake with pink bows on it and the women’s creative logo as a cake topper. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! I highly recommend ordering a cake from her. The buttercream on it was out of this world!
