The Getting Ready Photos
For their Spring Lake beach elopement, Allison rented an airbnb. This was to have extra time and space for all the getting ready moments. It was PHENOMENAL. I loved the vintage vibes of the beach house and felt like it was the perfect addition to her elopement day. 🧚🏼♀️ Allison dedicated a pendant to her father which she added on her bouquet as a tribute to him. 🕊️🤍 It was the perfect touch.
In addition, we left extra time for her to get fun getting ready portraits with her mom. It was ESSENTIAL. They were so much fun. We love the mother daughter moments. 🥰🤌🏻 I captured some Polaroids of the getting portion and took my time on all her details. 🎞️ Now, I allocate extra time on every wedding and elopement day for details because it is SO WORTH IT. It allowed me to open up creatively. Also, using the beach house rooms for her solos, and Pyrro’s solo portraits was a DREAM.
Their Elopement Ceremony
They had an intimate ceremony inside of the airbnb because it was raining outside. Their closest family and son were their to witness their marriage. After, we went to the Spring Lake beach to take their wedding portraits. Allison and Pyrro were not afraid of the rain and cold. They ran onto the beach together and made the most of the chaos, rain, wind blowing their hair, and running around like kids.
Lastly, I took photos of them by their car with the beach street behind them. There was a big yellow hotel behind them, which added to the vintage aesthetic. Romance, on the beach, in the rain… is unbeatable.
