Princeton University Engagement Session

Timeless Love in Princeton: A Nostalgic Engagement Session with Vintage Vibes

When it comes to beautiful locations, Princeton, New Jersey, is the scenic environment that suits engagement sessions perfectly. With its ivy-draped buildings, cobblestone streets, and a charming blend of historic charm and architecture, it’s the perfect backdrop for a love story that feels both classic and modern. Now for the vintage and nostalgic aesthetic, Briana and Matthias’s session looks straight out of an old romantic film for their Princeton University engagement session.

Location, Location, Location: The Princeton Aesthetic

Briana and Matthias’s session started on the iconic campus of Princeton University, where Gothic architecture meets leafy walkways. We started the photoshoot near the Princeton University store. Then we took photos near the Blair Arch, Henry Hall, McCosh Walk, and Buyers Hall. Briana looked chic in her white jeans, a black shirt, and that killer leather jacket, and Matthias chose to wear black jeans, a red shirt, and a green jacket with bold red-and-yellow stripes—this couple is basically a walking fashion statement. Their style screams ‘effortlessly cool,’ but their smiles? Pure warmth.

The Vibes: All the Nostalgia, All the Feels

This session wasn’t just about dressing up or posing in front of beautiful buildings at Princeton. It was about capturing the unique connection between two people who are preparing to share their lives together. Every photo felt like a peek into their love story.

The combination of Princeton’s historic charm and the couple’s vintage aesthetic made every moment feel like it belonged in a family heirloom photo album—or on the cover of a Nicholas Sparks novel.

Parting Thoughts: Planning Your Own Nostalgic Love Story

Thinking about planning a vintage-inspired engagement session? Take a page from Briana and Matthias’s book: Choose a location with character, dress the part, and most importantly, focus on the little moments of connection. The best photos are the ones that capture you.
