Chart House Spring Wedding

David & Cyrena Love Story

First, how special it is to capture your friends’ Chart House spring wedding day 🥺 David & Cyrena were nothing short of GLOWING TOGETHER 😭

It’s been the most wonderful process from start to finish being there for them on their special day. They celebrated their marriage at the Chart House. A chic venue with the NYC skyline as the backdrop. It was GORGEOUS in the beautiful spring weather.

Their wedding day was extra cool because it’s a palindrome 04/20/24 (backwards it’s still 42024) 😉 It was a day full of AMAZING ENERGY and CELEBRATION for Mr. & Mrs. Guardiola 🥰

David & Cyrena met for the first time in Ancient Greek History recitation. Fun fact: they just spent their honeymoon in Greece together 🥹 It’s really full circle for them. When they first met they realized everything they had in common; they’re both Puerto Ricans originally from the Bronx. Later on, they even realized their families may have lived near one another in the Bronx without them knowing. Can you say fate? 😉

Their favorite thing to do together is gaming and cooking. On any given day, they enjoyed spending a lot of time together going on picnics in the park. For their favorite memory together, it was their engagement trip to San Francisco. They went hiking in Muir Woods, and that’s where David proposed 👀🎉💍

I was so blessed to capture the sheer joy between them on their wedding day. David & Cyrena are truly made for each other. Everyone who knows them, loves them together dearly, including me 💁🏼‍♀️

Getting Ready

Further, they chose to get ready at the Sheraton Hotel, which is on the same street as Chart House. She chose Ashley Oppedisano Beauty for her makeup. Ashley was an amazing vendor and I highly recommend her! For Cyrena’s hair, she hired Gloria Espinoza and she could not have been happier with how her hair came out! We had an amazing team for Cyrena.

In addition, funny side comment… When I was in the middle of leaving Cyrena’s room to go to David’s room for getting ready photos, I got stuck in the elevator. Panic set in slightly, but then I just clicked the button on the elevator to make a call. Turns out I needed a room key to allow the elevator to keep moving. PSA FOR OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS: BRING A ROOM KEY IN THE ELEVATOR!
